Next Process After Adding an Agent
Once an agent has been successfully added, the next important step is to generate and share the agent's login credentials. The agent will not be able to access the portal until the login password and security PIN have been configured.
Navigation:
Agent Management → Agent List
On the Agent List page, each agent has two drop-down menus:
- Action
- Finance
To generate the login credentials, click the Action drop-down and use the following options:
1. Change Password
Select Change Password to create a login password for the agent.
Password Requirements:
- Must contain at least 1 uppercase letter (A–Z)
- Must contain at least 1 lowercase letter (a–z)
- Must contain at least 1 numeric digit (0–9)
- Must contain at least 1 special character (e.g., @, #, $, %, &)
- Follow the minimum password length configured in the system.
Note: Use a strong password to ensure the security of the agent account.
2. Change PIN
Select Change PIN to assign a security PIN for the agent.
The PIN acts as an additional layer of authentication and is required for secure account operations, depending on the portal configuration.
Important: The Password and PIN together provide two-level security for the agent account, helping protect the account from unauthorized access.
Final Step
After setting the Password and PIN, securely share the login credentials with the agent so they can successfully log in to the portal. Avoid sharing credentials through insecure channels.
